    On my custom search page I am returning the post excerpt. The WTI Like value appears as plain text in the beginning of the paragraph. For example, it might say “1 You have already voted. Blah blah, the rest of the actual post”.

    How do I prevent this?

    You can disable this by using the Search option for Exclude on selected sections setting.
